We had a wonderful time at our final day of Rolling River Rampage VBS!

The students enjoyed making stained glass in Discovery and checking on their crystals, enjoyed Smores on a Stick and watermelon in Snack, making cross zipper pulls in Crafts and played water balloon games at Recreation The students also heard the story of Zacchaeus from Luke 19:1-10 (correction from Wednesday: our story was Jesus calling the disciples from Matthew 4:18-25) in Bible Story and practiced their songs in music for Sunday’s program.

After Bible Story and Discovery, the 5th & 6th graders visited nursing homes and delivered God’s Eyes pillows (a craft from earlier in the week) to the residents.

We hope that everyone can join us for our VBS program Sunday, July 15 at our 9:00 a.m. worship service. The children will be sharing the Bible stories, songs and Bible verses they learned throughout our time at VBS. We would love to see the children there at 8:15 a.m. to practice and will be ready to share our program with everyone at 9:00 a.m.. We do have transportation available if parents are unable to attend. Call Pastor Nicole by 4:00 Saturday at 913-360-4500. If your child rode transportation to VBS this week, Pastor Nicole will be calling to check if transportation is needed Sunday.

Thank you for sharing your children with us this week. Everyone had a wonderful time!

“When you pass through the waters I will be with you”
